Why do we love this wine?
The more-than 50% new oak is still present in the mouthfeel and the creaminess of the wine, as well as the vanilla bean and pastry nuance, but it is in no way imposing. Instead it's beautifully woven into the acid and fruit profile of the wine - offering softness where there is tartness, and generosity where there is cool fruits. This is very smart wine that makes you sit up and take notice. It is charming and compelling and more than worthy of a spot in any cellar.
