Intense lime and citrus skin aromas leap out from the glass and lead a palate built around fresh lime, various citrus flavours (grapefruit perhaps?) and chalky, textural minerality that you'd expect from any high-quality Eden riesling. The secret to really good Eden Valley riesling is all in the soil, we won't bore you with the nitty gritty of it all but basically this wine comes from soil rich in minerals. It may seem like a stretch, but those minerals impart that distinctly chalky mouthfeel and very subtle saline notes that make this wine, and others like it, some of the best rieslings in Australia, if not the world. Yes, really.
