Throughout its long and storied history, the Eden Valley has only had four vintages rated 10/10 - 2002, 2015, 2017 and the year that birthed this beauty, 2021. Although there was a massive hail storm, with some producers losing over 50% of their crop, undamaged grapes were of phenomenal quality and concentration. This wine is shining example of what's possible when conditions cooperate. Fresh citrus flavours run throughout; lemon zest, lime cordial, even mandarin rind. There's the varietal zippy acid and a wonderful finish of green apple and fresh lime too. If you like putting down riesling then we're willing to bet that this will be singing in three-to-eight years. We're also willing to bet you won't be able to keep your hands off it for that long.
