Why do we love this wine?
2022 was one of the best vintages in Yarra history for chardonnay. A long ripening season coupled with perfect rainfall helped grow some of the finest fruit ever seen from the region. This single-block premium Yarra chardy shows exactly how to harness such excellent quality fruit. Eight months in 20% new French oak has imparted just the right amount of spices to a wine that has incredible acidity and delicate fruit drive. A couple of years of age have seen this soften just enough to make this an endlessly enjoyable chardy experience.
