Why do we love this wine?
An exciting little wine to be sure. Delightfully satisfying palate breadth filled with citrus at its centre. There is further fruit complexity on offer, too - green apple and pear, guava, grapefruit, a smidge of kiwi in the balancing puckering acidity. This has had four years hang time in the cellar, and it will go on, too. We'll be tucking a few bottles in the sock draw - that peppy acid coupled with the weight of the wine makes me think this could surprise us in its ageability.
