Why do we love this wine?
The vineyard from which this wine originates is the very first to be planted in Tasmania's (now) world famous Tamar Valley. Straight off the bat two things are apparent of this wine... Thing one: this wine was built to age. Thing two: this wine was built to age for a very long time. Given it's age, this wine is remarkably youthful. It's maintained its acidity and bright stone fruit but has developed a full mouthfeel and a pleasing yellow hue. This is liquid gold. Drink now or anytime over the next 8 years. Save it for an occasion though, it's worth it.
