Why do we love this wine?
Aged Yarra chardy is a rare beast, so when we get our hands on it we're understandably excited. This is a meticulously crafted wine; hand picked, whole bunch pressed, cold-soaked - all the trappings and all the trimmings. The fruit feels whole and ripe, it is especially pronounced mid palate, then fantails at the finish in a satisfying, complete way. Bright juicy acidity that marks the wine at all points and penetrates through the finish. This is a wine worth writing home about (and picking up a case or two while you can).
