Winemakers only put their names on the wines they're really, really proud of. E.J. Carr, and his labour of love - House of Arras - are widely considered Australia's greatest sparkling wine producers and when we try this we only have one thought, we're proud of you too E.J. - what a wine!

Why do we love this wine?
13 years on lees in triage. Yep, really. Premium fruit, from premium vineyards, from Australia's home of premium sparkling - Tasmania. E.J. Carr and his legendary House of Arras are commonly considered the best sparkling producer in all of Australia, one that rivals the top houses of Champagne. This is the wine they hang their hat on. There's plenty more that could be said about this beautiful bubbles but I think the Halliday Wine Companion hit the nail on the head in their review (below), "A benchmark Australian sparkling wine". Don't miss out, getting a hold of this wine is like herding cats (that's a hard thing to do for all us non-cat owners out there).
