Why do we love this wine?
Driven by a desire to capture the full-bodied flavours of shiraz but with a lighter touch, this wine has been crafted with a portion of whole-berry fermentation (instead of crushing the grapes) which allows for a softer extraction of tannin and a more fruit forward style, while still harnessing the silky texture, subtle spice and savoury notes we have all come to love from this variety. Say goodbye to all those huge, old school shiraz, and say hello to the new slurp-able shiraz that has drinkability going for it in spades, without the heaviness, without the darkness.
