One of the most sought-after and prestigious cult producers around, Dan Standish is an absolute hero of Australian wine. This 97 Halliday vintage, with fruit exclusively from the Schubert vineyard, is absolutely astounding. Rich, bold, complex, elegant, balanced. Ripe blue fruits and plums with coppery terra-rossa notes, liquorice and charcuterie underpinning on the nose. The palate is mind-blowingly good - with rich, full texture across the palate lifted by the fine, dusty tannins and clean acidity for an unforgettable experience.
