Why do we love this wine?
The dense black and blue fruits of this wine's past have evolved into a deeply nuanced, intricate fruit profile that allows you to peel back the layers like rose petals. Beneath them are all the hallmarks of a wine that's ageing gracefully; game, earth, spice, tobacco, charcoal, peat. There is so much to love, but most of all, for me, it's the potential this wine has. It will go and go and go - cellar for another decade confidently.
