Why do we love this wine?
In the words of the producer, "Great detail is taken through every stage of viticulture and wine making to ensure our wine expresses our single site estate vineyard and the season it came from". Put simply, this is a wine of time and place, lucky for us the time is 2021 and the place is the Barossa. Whichever way you look at it, this a big wine; bursting with dark berry and plum fruit, cocoa powder and well-integrated, chocolatey oak. A hug in a glass, drink it with a knife and fork, a steak's best friend, there's any number of Barossa shiraz clichés we could throw at you but the point remains the same: this is great wine, for a great price. Don't sleep on this one.
