Why do we love this wine?
The fruit for this gorgeous shiraz is sourced from a premium McLaren flat vineyard planted in 1972. Although a classic McLaren Vale style, there are some characteristics common to the sub-region present on the palate... blueberry fruit, some red fruit, plums and a subtle violet lift with elegant tannins. Add all that to nearly 10 years in the cellar and we've got a deliciously complex, smooth yet vibrant bottle of wine. A serious contender for best value wine of the year.
