Why do we love this wine?
Freshly floral and red fruited, this veers away from the classic light body of its French cousins and delivers a fuller (we'll call it medium, to be technically correct), richer drinking experience. There is delightful nettle and twiggy-ness from a bit of whole bunch work, and classic sweet spice from well deployed, spare-no-expense oak. Cherries, liquorice, plum, aniseed, earth, Turkish delight... there's really no end to what's discoverable, and lucky for me I stocked up, so I can go on discovering after this bottle is done.
