Australia is home to the oldest continuous vineyard of this spectacular Rhône varietal, so when this producer debuted their first iteration of it in 2007, they sought out to honour the respect that this grape commands… They’ve done just that. Aged for 18 months in 2 year old French oak, this drop exudes the multilayered complexity and elegance that it’s known for, boasting red and purple fruits, a touch of tar and aniseed, along with a fine grained tannic structure.
