Why do we love this wine?
This is my 'never miss' red - every vintage it provides incredible value. It truly is a special occasion wine at a 'lets grab something from the cupboard' price. Crimson, brooding, red-and-blue berried, and complex. It carries a little more weight than its contemporaries, veering into the full bodied spectrum, but that's a big plus for me - there is acid and tannin to carry that extra girth and then some. This is genuinely brilliant wine from a winery that has helped to define Margaret River on the world stage.
