Every year we have to wait for this wine. Unfortunately, it sells out too quickly! So we know it’s been a while since the Fo’ have had our mittens on Matahiwi’s more premium ‘Holly’ range. Thankfully, it’s back - let’s breathe a sigh of relief, we have been craving pinot pleasure.

Why do we love this wine?
Blood plum and juicy cherry notes flood the senses here. A delicate, cedary oak overlays aromas of soft spices and purple flowers, with a mouthful of sophistication, and bright acidity. There is such great length and and amazing cellaring potential. With ten months in French oak (35% of which is new), a combination of specifically selected pinot noir clones and a vintage providing ideal fruit ripeness, we’re sure you’ll appreciate the complete package that is the ‘Holly’.
