Why do we love this wine?
This 4.0 Vivino-rated 2019 vintage of the Le Bandite is made from 100% sangiovese sourced from a vineyard at 330 metres over shale and alluvial soil. After fermentation, it sees approx 20 months in French oak, which adds a cedary complement to the ripe fruit. Wonderfully well-balanced, you’ll find black cherry, plum, liquorice, earthen notes and subtle hints of balsamic. The velvety tannins lead seamlessly into the long, mineral, blood orange finish.
