Why do we love this wine?
This producer spends most of their time in the Barossa, occasionally venturing outward to the other premium regions of South Australia. They've stayed close to home for this wine though, sourcing fruit from a single vineyard to craft a grenache of great character and gluggability (yeah, we're making that a word). Plum, cherry, rhubarb, pepper and earth all dance on the palate, carrying forward some lovely chalky tannins and a little touch of forest floor. It's no wonder that those in the know are clamouring for grenache at every turn.
