Curly Flat pinot was the wine that got me into the wine. There is so much going on in the glass that they become near elusive. If somebody ever asked me what is meant when an wine is described as 'ethereal,' I would push a glass of this there way.

Why do we love this wine?
Otherworldly. Sleek, profound, plush, precise. Charming, charismatic, complex. 97-points by the Halliday Wine Companion is actually under doing it, in my opinion. Red cherry into nettle into chocolate into toffee apple into cassis into pure, unadulterated pleasure. Everything that was excellent about this wine on release has gotten better. The fruit still sings, but now there's tertiary baritone that underscores the freshness and zeal. This is a wine for the ages from an Australian icon in Curly Flat.
