This is the real deal. Classic black cherry and mint with dark chocolate nuance. The colour alone is quite compelling: deep, inky, glossy and velvety violet. The mouthfeel is smooth and supple yet powerful through a long finish.

Why do we love this wine?
McLaren Vale doesn't get much of a look in when it comes to cabernet, and that's a blight on us all. The region is known for shiraz with marked blue fruit freshness, and this borrows from that brilliantly. A flash of plum and some ripe blueberries sit at the core of this, with swirling cedar and bark on the periphery. There are floral aromatics which offer a little bit of prettiness and finesse, but this doesn't miss a beat in the big and bold department.
