The fruit, acid and tannin in this wine are pure and enduring, this is drinking unbelievably right now, and will go for much longer. If we're honest, we're going to drink it now, we've been eyeing this one for a few years and have lost our patience, we very highly recommend that you have a go at yours. It's game-changing.

Why do we love this wine?
Low-yielding, high quality vineyards are what this iconic producer are all about. This is must have been a beast in its youth because an aged wine, we're blown away but the concentration and power of the fruit. A distinctly varietal nose with blackberry, cassis, pencil shavings and mint. The palate shows us the value of bottle-ageing premium cabernet; leather, tobacco, french oak and spice take the lead whilst velvet-like tannins and subtle natural acid build a lengthy, satisfying finish. To put it simply, tasty, textured and downright tremendous.
