2x Reschke Reserve Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon 2020
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
Coonawarra — Australia
Smooth and rich Coonawarra cab? Say no more. We’re not going to talk to you like you don’t know what to expect, and instead we’re going to tell you why this wine is the next best thing. There’s everything you crave in the style: cocoa, minty, eucalypt mingling with blackcurrants aplenty. What’s that? Oh, in comes a smattering of smokey spice, a dollop of dark jammy fruits, and an emerging earthy tone that sets everything in its place.

2x Farmer's Leap Shiraz 2018
Red — Shiraz
Padthaway — Australia
Lovers of big, bold South Aussie shiraz can tell you, that just around the corner from Coonawara lies the region of Padthaway. Where cab shines in Coonawarra, shiraz is the star of Padthaway. We’ve seen a few vintages of this wine, all delicious and consistent in style. First, the nose hints at blackberries and an alluring mocha note. It’s full and rich on the palate, with blood plums, cherries and spice. The wine is excellent value and delivers all of the power and flavour that SA shiraz is famous for.
You’d pay $28 full price.

2x Amelia Park Ironstone Shiraz 2022
Red — Shiraz
Frankland River — Australia
This wine is, without doubt, one of the most popular we’ve ever seen at Vinomofo. How popular is popular, you ask? Well, thirsty mofos took over 30,000 bottles of a previous vintage straight out of our hands. Yup. We know it’s a great wine deal but when our mofo members are this unanimous in their desire for this drop; well it’s simply cause for one big shiraz gluggin’ celebration.
Full bodied and silky smooth with lashings of plums and earthy spice; if you’re quaffing this Frankland River gem on a week night, know you’re in good company alongside many a mofo. With one fist in the air (and the other holding a glass of this wine) we salute you!
You’d pay $33 full price.

2x Powell & Son Riverside GSM 2020
Red — GSM
Barossa Valley — Australia
One more time around the block we say... bringing us into the third vintage of this stunning wine from the legendary craftsmanship of Dave Powell. A regional icon of an iconic region. It’s bright and juicy, with elegant tannin and layered complexity. The palate’s exploding with blackcurrant and raspberry compote, sweet red cherries and licorice. The generous splash of mataro adds a delightful medicinal undertone to this one - wine tonic for all your ailments. It’s plush enough for the winter, and will take a quick chill in the fridge over the heat of summer. No matter when, where, or who you share this with, it’s guaranteed not to disappoint.

2x Elysian Springs Marley Farm Shiraz 2021
Red — Shiraz
McLaren Vale — Australia
It doesn’t get much more Vale-y than this. Full-bodied, but not heavy, dark in fruit but expressive and bright. Think plums, black cherries, dark chocolate, liquorice and spice. Great balance, great length, smooth on the palate and eminently delicious. Simply McLaren Vale, through and through.
You’d pay $28 full price.

2x Thistledown Wild & Wilder 'Pugilist' Cabernet Sauvignon 2021
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
Langhorne Creek — Australia
This pan-South Aussie producer is fast becoming a mofo favourite across their delicious red and white wines. They seek out parcels of quality grapes in Barossa, McLaren and in this case the maritime region of Langhorne Creek. Their wines are made to a high-standard across the range and are reliably delicious. This cabernet shows off a perfumed nose of flowers, juicy plums and dried herbs, followed by a medium-bodied, ripe and textured palate. There’s a gentle earthiness in the wine that is wrapped in blackberries and a lingering olive tapenade finish.
You’d pay $22 full price.
