Why do we love this case?
Get around these wondrously different alternate varieties for a whole new spectrum of flavours. White wine like you’ve never known it before. From the fabulously foreign to the heavenly home-grown, these all offer the fun of discovery. Time to ditch the usual suspects and get stuck in!
2x Punch Wines Friends of Punch Semillon 2018
White — Semillon
Yarra Valley — Australia
We love an aged semillon here at Vinomofo, we also love (and we mean LOVE) Punch Wines. For those who have tried aged sem before, you know what all the carry-on is about, for those who haven’t, what an introduction. Baked apples, baking spice, zesty citrus and a smooth, almost creamy texture, the zippy acid bounces off the developed lanolin notes and varietal grassiness perfectly. Be careful what you drink this with, you might forget to enjoy the food… it’s a little dangerous in that regard.

2x Hahndorf Hill Brother Nature Field Blend 2023
White — White Blend
Adelaide Hills — Australia
Very much in the style of Gemischter Satz wines of Austria. Packed full of riesling, pinot blanc, gruner veltliner, sauvignon blanc, welschriesling and all the other varieties you could imagine in an Austrian field blend. The result is a versatile, dry and zesty wine with an effortless complexity brought on through co-fermentation. The perfect wine for seafood. Or cheese. Or stir-fries. Or French fries. Just about anything if we're being honest with you.
You’d pay $39 full price.

2x Oxbow Fiano 2024
White — Fiano
Adelaide Hills — Australia
Fresh, fragrant, dry and wonderfully textured. We can't think of a better wine to pop on the table at a long lunch in the sun. Powerful enough to carry food, light and bright enough to carry on without - this one gets an invite to every party.
With a lively mineralic texture, vibrant natural acid and abundant apples/pears, this is a wine that fits itself into any and all social situations. Fiano has really been making a name for itself in Australia over the last few years and there's a few reasons for that. Reason one: it's a very durable grape. Fiano has the capacity to ripen in warmer, sun-drenched environments whilst still maintaining fantastic natural acid - perfect for the Australian climate. Reason two: This one's the most important. The fiano being made in this country is just yummy. It might not be the most technical of wine descriptors, but here at Vinomofo, we think yumminess is kind of a big deal. You won't be disappointed with this malleable little number.

2x Ironcloud Pepperilly SBS 2023
White — SBS
Ferguson Valley — Australia
This a cracking SBS. Semillon and sauvignon blanc have always been best friends, there's something about the juicy citrus from the semillon that compliments the grassy aspects and tropical fruit flavours of sauv blanc beautifully. Our end result is this gorgeous drop; lifted and zesty with passionfruit and ripe melons, a racy acid line sets up a refreshing, bright finish that will have you pouring another glass before the Fremantle Doctor has even come in.
You’d pay $26 full price.

2x Churchview Silverleaf Chenin Blanc 2024
White — Chenin Blanc
Australia — Australia
Vibrant, regional and very pronounced, this is completely typical of modern Margaret River chenin blanc. This is absolutely bursting with tropical fruit, think pineapple, passionfruit, even guava, but instead of a flabby, oily texture, we have a bright line of natural acid that gives the whole thing a bit of zing and puts a right good pep in your step. A wonderful example of modern, easy-drinking chenin.
You’d pay $18 full price.

2x Windowrie Estate Pig in the House Picpoul Blanc 2023
White — Other White
Central Ranges — Australia
Aromatic, delicate and wholly pleasing. A fantastic accompaniment for oysters, prawns or any other seafood you can think of! If you love gris/grigio, sauv blanc or albarino, this is right in your wheelhouse.
Bright but delicate aromatics of pear, apple and zesty lime set up a subtly structured palate with refreshing acidity and a soft, lingering finish. Looking to try something new without completely leaving your comfort zone? This is the one. Although unique in its elegance and subtlety, there's plenty of familiar flavours for the Australian palate on offer, zesty, refreshing, citrusy and slightly tropical. A complete and interesting table-white and, as the producer says, "this wine is a great accompaniment to oysters, seafood in general, and sunny afternoons".
You’d pay $28 full price.
