Why do we love this case?
With a childhood surrounded by pioneers of Barossa winemaking, for Sam and Angus Wardlaw, a life in the wine industry was inevitable. For the last decade the brothers have been forming connections, honing their craft and, of course, tasting a lot of wine. The result of these noble and tireless efforts is a stable of wines worthy of the spotlight. In this case you'll receive 11 bottles of the boys' staple, the Brothers At War Pendee Farm Shiraz 2022, a powerful but poised drop that tells you everything you need to know about this winery. You also get an extremely special bottle to save and savour, the Brothers At War Single Vineyard Old Vine Shiraz 2022, save this for a birthday, in a few years - you won't regret it.

THE UPGRADE WINE
A tiny parcel of old vine fruit is handpicked, destemmed, cold-soaked then pressed into 40% new French oak barrels and aged on lees for 18 months. Ok, that's a lot of technical gibberish but basically what all that means is that this wine is getting the full rockstar treatment, and it shows. A generous but elegant expression of Barossa with plenty to offer now and a long way to go in the cellar, should you see fit. To save and savour, an occasion wine with great presence - great for presents!

11x Brothers At War Pendee Farm Shiraz 2022
Red — Shiraz
Barossa — Australia
This isn’t our first rodeo with this particular house of Barossa legends. In fact, it's not even the first time we've cleared out a whole vintage from them because we've loved the wine so much. The Pendee Farm is a special cuvée, an homage to the old planted vineyards that represent quintessential Barossa. It’s hard working, relentlessly giving, and concentrates all its goodness in small, powerful doses. If you’re like us, you can taste Barossa shiraz when you hear it mentioned, but this is not like the rest. Begging to be drunk and enjoyed now or for a number of years to come.
You’d pay $50 full price.
