Why do we love this case?
If you love Australian shiraz then get ready to tuck in. This is a selection of certified excellence, with some of Australia's best wineries, and best winemakers on show here. This is arguably one of the best cases of wine we've ever offered, so don't sleep on your opportunity to bask in this glory.
1x d'Arenberg Dead Arm Shiraz 2018
Red — Shiraz
McLaren Vale — Australia
The Maestro
Impossible to overstate the excellence on offer here. This is superb stuff. There is so much complexity and depth to the wine, something new is ready to reveal itself at every sip. Cassis and black cherry out of the gate. Some riper, richer plums and brambles mix with roasted vegetables and sweet spice. It's powerful but never overbearing, full and rich but precise and focused - everything is as it should be. A wine with genuine presence on the palate. Oomph that doesn't veer into being unctuous. The structure of the wine will ensure it is long lived; while drinking brilliantly now, this is a wine with a conservative two decades left in the tank.

Tasting Notes
2x Lou Miranda Estate Golden Lion Shiraz 2020
Red — Shiraz
Barossa — Australia
Power and other-worldly levels of deliciousness. This is one robust shiraz. In the glass, the colour is a deep crimson red and there’s lifted aromas of plum, pepper, vanilla and dark chocolate. The palate is full and generous with dark fruits, interwoven spice and savoury tannins. With Angela Miranda at the helm of the winemaking, this is one well made wine. There's a good dose of American oak in the ageing regime on this, adding a touch of coconut and further vanilla to the wine. It’s ready to go with a big ole’ steak right now or will happily nap in your cellar for 15 years. This big boy is here for you now and in the future.
You’d pay $50 full price.

2x Dandelion Vineyards 'Lioness of the McLaren Vale' Shiraz 2019
Red — Shiraz
McLaren Vale — Australia
Dandelion Vineyards are one of those producers we have always admired: such a range of wines that really speak to quality and attention. So of course, McLaren Vale shiraz got us a little excited, and the wine really lived up to expectations. Densely laden with purity of fruit and a texture building oak profile: it's very hard to say no to a second glass of this gem.

2x Mitolo Jester Shiraz 2021
Red — Shiraz
McLaren Vale — Australia
Boasting all the dark fleshy plums and blackberries you can poke a stick at, with subtle but lingering black olive and chocolate nuances long after your final gulp. With a lusciously smooth texture and lingering liveliness on the back palate, you're guaranteed quality quaffing through the next few years. There's a reason the jester has long been a favourite drop for mofos around Australia, and the stellar 2021 vintage is no exception.

Tasting Notes
2x Haselgrove Bella Vigna Shiraz 2020
Red — Shiraz
McLaren Vale — Australia
This producer has to be one of the most consistently excellent wineries in McLaren Vale. Many of their wines get scores in the high-90s year after year and we reckon this wine may have the same fate, so were happy to get in before the reviews. The flavour’s there and the points will come. This one is McLaren Vale to a tee with all the dark, ripe berries, chocolate and spice you could want. It’s full-bodied and absolutely delightful. Trust us, mofo, this stuff is awesome.
You’d pay $30 full price.

A winemaking icon of the Barossa. This is a few parcels of estate fruit, each picked with the finished wine in mind - a focused, fruit forward shiraz that speaks loudly and proudly of the Barossa. Lovers of full, juicy, weight wines, tip in – this one's for you.

Tasting Notes
2x Kangarilla Road McLaren Vale Shiraz 2021
Red — Shiraz
McLaren Vale — Australia
Ah, how we love a shiraz from Kangarilla Road. Dark berries and black cherries run the show, combining with liquorice, spice and dark choccy flavours that last right through to the end. With a delicate oak profile and powdery tannins, this shiraz is proof that not all heroes wear capes; some are simply made from grapes.
You’d pay $30 full price.
