Here's the deal, 11 great bottles of red, along with one heavy-hitting, exceptional drop to rule them all.

Get excited for a true BOSS - an exceptional shiraz worth $480 with points galore including a 98, 97, double 95 and a 94 Halliday point score, not to mention a 4.1 vivino rating- and 11 other awesome shiraz to keep you satisfied. This isn't like any other boss (unless you know a boss who over delivers and is the life of the party). There’s no catch, just very good deals made in good faith with some of Australia’s best wineries. Keep this one on the down low, and enjoy the rewards that await you in the box.

Included in this case:

1x Chateau Yaldara 1847 First Pick Shiraz 2020

Red — Shiraz

Barossa Valley — Australia

The Boss

So much has been written about Barossa shiraz, especially at the top end in terms of quality. This one might just sit in pole position, revealing layer after layer of complexity. It's aromatic, hinting at violets, boysenberry, tapenade and potpourri. Then you have a sip...blackberry, cocoa, vanillin, baking spices and a touch of toastiness. The tannins are there of course, but bathed in sweet fruit notes and a creamy texture. This is big, this is bold, this is all that Barossa strives to be.

You’d pay $480 full price.

Dandelion Vineyards are one of those producers we have always admired: such a range of wines that really speak to quality and attention. So of course, McLaren Vale shiraz got us a little excited, and the wine really lived up to expectations. Densely laden with purity of fruit and a texture building oak profile: it's very hard to say no to a second glass of this gem.

2x Hollick Red Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

Red — Cabernet Sauvignon

Coonawarra — Australia

Estate fruit from the famed Hollick vineyards in Coonawarra, this is cab sauv like Aussies know and love. Certainly, a little bit of age behind this number has helped to fill out the mid palate, making it rich and dense with threads of fennel and mint throughout. It's very hard not to enjoy this wine- and we're speaking from experience.

2x Starling Barossa Valley Shiraz 2022

Red — Shiraz

Barossa — Australia

Like a good book, wine is not all about what’s on the cover. But we have to say, when you’re getting great vino in some super sleek packaging, it’s a big bonus. This is the Barossa classic with a modern edge. Fruit-driven and rich, it hits every corner of your palate with pleasing intensity. The oak-imparted tannins make for a ripper time with some charred meat or veg, perfect for that easy weeknight in.

You’d pay $35 full price.
