1x Chateau Yaldara 1847 First Pick Shiraz 2020
Red — Shiraz
Barossa Valley — Australia
The Boss
So much has been written about Barossa shiraz, especially at the top end in terms of quality. This one might just sit in pole position, revealing layer after layer of complexity. It's aromatic, hinting at violets, boysenberry, tapenade and potpourri. Then you have a sip...blackberry, cocoa, vanillin, baking spices and a touch of toastiness. The tannins are there of course, but bathed in sweet fruit notes and a creamy texture. This is big, this is bold, this is all that Barossa strives to be.
You’d pay $480 full price.

1x Thistledown Wild and Wilder 'The Unforgettable' GSM 2021
Red — GSM
South Australia — Australia
GSM - the ‘Holy Trinity’ of South Aussie reds. It’s the simple, but pleasing harmony of the blend that is nearly better than the sum of its parts. This is a ripe and succulent red that shows off the best of all three varieties. Grenache brings red berries, plums and a bit of warmth. Shiraz adds spice and acid. And then mataro contributes a wonderfully floral nose and its famous inky colour. This is a solid and tasty version of the blend, sure to please fans of the style
You’d pay $22 full price.

2x Reschke Cellar Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2020
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
Coonawarra — Australia
This family winery have been landowners in Coonawarra for over 100 years. They are Coonawarra experts and the jewel in their crown is, of course, cabernet sauvignon. Their wines consistently score highly with critics and this 2020 cellar release is a showcase of a deep understanding of the land and masterstroke winemaking.
The blackberry fruit concentration is immense and elevated by fine, dancing tannin. It wouldn't be Coonawarra without the marriage of mint and tobacco, rounding out mouth-feel and driving complexity. This is fantastic drinking now and will age gracefully for another decade.
You’d pay $65 full price.

McLaren Vale — Australia
We really are firm believers that the McLaren Vale over delivers with its quality to price point ratio. Load up, call your friends, pencil in a dinner party and let the bottles fly, you'll be the go to wine person in no time. Now, you just have to nail the food pairing. 2x Amelia Park Ironstone Shiraz 2022
Red — Shiraz
Frankland River — Australia
This wine is, without doubt, one of the most popular we’ve ever seen at Vinomofo. How popular is popular, you ask? Well, thirsty mofos took over 30,000 bottles of a previous vintage straight out of our hands. Yup. We know it’s a great wine deal but when our mofo members are this unanimous in their desire for this drop; well it’s simply cause for one big shiraz gluggin’ celebration.
Full bodied and silky smooth with lashings of plums and earthy spice; if you’re quaffing this Frankland River gem on a week night, know you’re in good company alongside many a mofo. With one fist in the air (and the other holding a glass of this wine) we salute you!
You’d pay $33 full price.

Coonawarra — Australia
On the nose, expect enticing aromas of ripe black fruits, intermingled with hints of cocoa and subtle spices, alluding to the rich story woven into every sip. The palate is a true revelation - an opulent symphony of flavors unfolds as velvety smooth blackberry and plum dance gracefully across the tongue.
