1x Chateau Yaldara 1847 Grand Pappy's Shiraz 2019
Red — Shiraz
Barossa Valley — Australia
The Boss
We all know the Barossa, and likely this icon of a wine, but do we really know it’s history? Introducing to you pioneers of this famed region, with this winery established way back in 1847. They show no mercy when it comes to staying true to the region: meaty, bold, and focused reds with a whole lot of character. You know what we’re talking about: eye-catching hues of purple, soft and silky tannins, and more plummy goodness than you can poke a stick at. There’s cherry and rhubarb sure, but we’re talking unapologetic notes of chocolate, toasty oak and handfuls of freshly cracked pepper. It’s a showstopper, and built to impress even the most discerning of critics.
You’d pay $320 full price.

2x Amelia Park Ironstone Shiraz 2022
Red — Shiraz
Frankland River — Australia
This wine is, without doubt, one of the most popular we’ve ever seen at Vinomofo. How popular is popular, you ask? Well, thirsty mofos took over 30,000 bottles of a previous vintage straight out of our hands. Yup. We know it’s a great wine deal but when our mofo members are this unanimous in their desire for this drop; well it’s simply cause for one big shiraz gluggin’ celebration.
Full bodied and silky smooth with lashings of plums and earthy spice; if you’re quaffing this Frankland River gem on a week night, know you’re in good company alongside many a mofo. With one fist in the air (and the other holding a glass of this wine) we salute you!
You’d pay $33 full price.

2x Elysian Springs Marley Farm Shiraz 2021
Red — Shiraz
McLaren Vale — Australia
It doesn’t get much more Vale-y than this. Full-bodied, but not heavy, dark in fruit but expressive and bright. Think plums, black cherries, dark chocolate, liquorice and spice. Great balance, great length, smooth on the palate and eminently delicious. Simply McLaren Vale, through and through.
You’d pay $28 full price.

1x Mount Avoca Daly's Cottage Shiraz 2019
Red — Shiraz
Pyrenees — Australia
Big and bold - shiraz that tends to amble around the glass. Plummy and plush, this is really packing a bit of oomph. Bright cherry red with magenta highlights with good intensity and slow legs on the swirl. Delightful plum, raspberry and blackberry aromas with hints of cocoa, nutmeg and a supporting background of sweet toasty black pepper.
Sourced from a selection of premium Victorian Shiraz vineyards. Traditional winemaking applied throughout.

2x Gomersal Wines Rosevale Shiraz 2020
Red — Shiraz
Barossa Valley — Australia
Gomersal Wines are right in the heart of it, the famed terroir of the Barossa Valley. Surprise surprise, they make pretty good shiraz. This is the kind of wine you can open without hesitation, and it’ll deliver on all its promises. Deeply coloured, and richly flavoured. The palate is fleshy with all the fruits from plum to black cherry to raspberry. You’re doing things right if you get some charred things on your dinner- whether that be meat or vegetables. Lean into the comforts, and enjoy without restraint.

2x Hollick The Bard Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
Coonawarra — Australia
This is one of those 'if you know you know' wines. We've had the privilege to work with Hollick for years and years. It's almost embarrassing to say how many, it makes us feel old. This range originally was all about shiraz, but we're bringing in the big guns: Coonawarra cabernet. Erring more on the side of chocolate and blackberry cake than it is mint and eucalypt, yet still so notably Coonawarra.
You’d pay $57 full price.
