2x First Sighting Sauvignon Blanc 2022
White — Sauvignon Blanc
South Africa — South Africa
This wonderful sauvignon blanc from Strandveld Vineyards in Cape Agulhas, South Africa is unbelievable value. This has all of the tropical, zesty notes that any sauv drinker would like, plus an ocean-side freshness. The vineyards lie only 9km from the sea and maybe I’ve been lured by their marketing, but I swear there’s a bit of sea-spray on the grapes. Either way, it is a holiday in a glass and I know that’s what I need right now.

2x Fenetre Lavande Sauvignon Blanc 2022
White — Sauvignon Blanc
South Australia — Australia
Fenetre: as fun to say as it is to drink. This sauvignon blanc will have you thinking you were sailing off the coast of France's south, eating fresh fish straight from the local waters. Maybe that's just us, but that's the kind of fantasy world that this savvy b transports you to. A great drop that hits all the right spots.

2x Twin Valleys Sauvignon Blanc 2023
White — Sauvignon Blanc
King Valley — Australia
Excellent sauv blanc is being produced in the King Valley. Who knew? Well, Twin Valleys did. It makes sense that an area with bright, crisp pinot grigio can do the same with savvy b. This one is all tropical fruit and gooseberries, backed by a softer acidity. In layperson’s terms, that means it makes for some easy drinking. So let Twin Valleys do all the hard work in growing the grapes and making the wine. Then, you relax and pour yourself a glass (or two).

2x Berrigan Wines Frisque Sauvignon Blanc 2023
White — Sauvignon Blanc
Adelaide Hills — Australia
When I drink sauvignon blanc, more often than not it's from the Adelaide Hills. The wines offer an extra element of savoury, grassy complexity than you might find in their New Zealand counterparts. This wine typifies that regional character perfectly - it has the juicy tropical notes that mark the varietal, but there's is a bit of punchy spice and capsicum in the mix as well, giving the wine another layer of intrigue and enjoyment.

Chile — Chile
Strap yourself in for some fresh, fruity, zesty savvy direct from Chile. This crisp little drop hails from a mediterranean climate with mild winters and a temperate summer. So, if you fancy a glass of some refreshing savvy b on a Friday night (or a Wednesday for that matter) then this was made to line your fridge door.

2x Geoff Hardy K1 Sauvignon Blanc 2022
White — Sauvignon Blanc
Adelaide Hills — Australia
This savvy always walks the line between the variety’s two faces, tropical and herbaceous. It’s like a mango cheek spiked with pea shoots and smothered in passionfruit guts. Grassy like a cut summer lawn, for sure, but also reminiscent of lazing on the beach on the perfect warm day with the summer breeze wafting in. A very fresh, beautifully cool drop that will have you salivating for more.
