2x Domaine Gayda T'air D'oc Sauvignon Blanc 2022
White — Sauvignon Blanc
France — France
Domaine Gayda started as a staging post for weary travellers and their horses all the way back in 1749. In 2004, the property was converted into a winery, accommodation and restaurant. They source grapes from throughout France’s Languedoc region, producing wonderfully modern styles from traditional wine growing lands.
T’air D’oc is a bit of a fun choice of name for a wine! Translating loosely to ‘you look good’. A pretty accurate description of this cheeky lil’ sauvignon blanc. Boasting tropical fruits mainly, with a dusting of citrus aroma, its punching a light, bright palate, and finishes super crisp. Perfect over a bit of ice in the afternoon sun.

2x Wheeler Wines Sauvignon Blanc 2019
White — Sauvignon Blanc
Yarra Valley — Australia
Wheeler Wines are icons of the Yarra Valley, a status they've received from impeccable wines time and time again. This savvy-b is not like the rest: naturally fermented in both tank and French oak, it's not all just zing and zest. There's palate weight in the form of almond and fresh hay. This is as excellent as it is exciting, it's hard to stop at one glass.
You’d pay $25 full price.

2x Twin Valleys Sauvignon Blanc 2023
White — Sauvignon Blanc
King Valley — Australia
Excellent sauv blanc is being produced in the King Valley. Who knew? Well, Twin Valleys did. It makes sense that an area with bright, crisp pinot grigio can do the same with savvy b. This one is all tropical fruit and gooseberries, backed by a softer acidity. In layperson’s terms, that means it makes for some easy drinking. So let Twin Valleys do all the hard work in growing the grapes and making the wine. Then, you relax and pour yourself a glass (or two).

2x Reschke Bull Trader Sauvignon Blanc 2022
White — Sauvignon Blanc
Coonawarra — Australia
Coonawarra sauv blanc? Is that a thing? Turns out it is and it should be. Coonawarra is technically a cool climate region, allowing for slower ripening and development of flavour. That’s pretty damn perfect for sauv blanc. Reschke know how to make great wines, and this is just another feather in their cap: super fragrant with lemon, lime and white peach. There’s passionfruit and nectarine on the palate with a bit of texture and crisp acidity to finish. It’s savvy bee through and through, we guarantee a good time with this on the table.
You’d pay $25 full price.

2x Holdaway Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2022
White — Sauvignon Blanc
Marlborough — New Zealand
The Holdaway family has tended to its land in Marlborough since 1864, focussing in modern times on sustainability and biodiversity. This vintage, like every vintage before it, is classic sauv blanc. Refreshing and elegant, exhibiting bright acidty, nice fruit weight and subtle minerality. You find citrus in the form of grapefruit and mandarin, along with passionfruit, nettles and bell pepper. A nice little number out of Marlborough with a bit more going on than the usual savvy b.
