2x Sorby Adams Jazz Pinot Rosé 2022
Rosé
Eden Valley — Australia
Don't judge a book by its cover, sure, but you can judge a rosé by it's colour, and this one gets top marks. A beautiful salmon hue with little flecks of bricky orange throughout - you can tell from the outset that this Eden Valley pink is going to hit the Provence brief.
Strawberries, fresh red cherries, bright raspberry and ripe currants. There is a plethora of red fruit on offer here, and a bit of orange peel bitterness to back it up. The palate is creamy and fresh, exuding bright acidity. This is classic rosé, just the way we like it.
You’d pay $28 full price.

2x Olivares Rosado 2022
Rosé
Jumilla — Spain
This is a bit of a gateway drug into the world of rosé - with a touch more colour and a heap more flavour than their neighbours to the north. For wine lovers who have got a bit more imbibing experience, it’s likely a fixture of parties and BBQs - times when you will need a few bottles and value is necessary. This is a great example of how grenache sings in rosé, on the table with food or simply in the glass. Beautifully crisp and refreshing, it’s like a dive into a cool pool on a hot day. Only, instead of pool toys, you have strawberries, raspberries and a zesty hint of orange peel to keep things fun and fruity. Keep it chilled and ready to go at a moment’s notice.
You’d pay $25 full price.

All sorts of highs to be had here, not least of which is a high level of enjoyability. Fresh, zesty, and a little pithy just for good balance and good measure. Think about biting into a perfectly ripe white peach, some rose petals mingling with some raspberry and red apples in the background. All of this in an immensely affordable drop of rosé, you do the math.
