Whisky and wine are a bit of a pigeon pair. They just work so well together. Red wine with dinner, then a whisky to finish off the evening. You know we love our Aussie reds here at the ‘Fo, so it makes perfect sense for us to dip our toes into the ‘spirit’ world with an Aussie whisky that’s been aged in shiraz barrels.

Why do we love this case?
Enter Starward, a distillery amongst Australia’s upper echelon, and one that just happens to be around the corner from the Vinomofo office. It’s a tough job we do but no need to thank us.
Without further ado, allow us to present our fifth Whisky and Wine pack! We’ve taken five bottles of the acclaimed Lights Valley Barossa Shiraz 2020 and that last little spot in the case? Well that belongs to Nova, Starward’s famous single malt whisky that’s matured in shiraz barrels.
We’re still Vinomofo through and through, but doesn’t Whiskymofo have a nice ring to it?

5x Lights Valley Barossa Shiraz 2020
Red — Shiraz
Barossa Valley — Australia
Not all wines are made the same. And certainly not all Barossa shiraz is made the same. It's not easy to make such a dense and complex wine, but take prime vineyards in the Barossa and you're one step towards success. On any given day, there's probably about 40 bottles of shiraz on our tasting bench. As buyers, you'll always be surprised at the ones that take the medal. The Lights Valley was the clear winner one particular day, pleasing each and every person that joined the bench for a sip. Juicy, jubey and dense; there's absolutely nothing that you won't love about this wine, and that's a guarantee.
You’d pay $55 full price.
