If ever there was a grape capable of magic, it’s pinot noir. Little wonder it’s key to many of the most expensive wines in the world. Luckily, there’s none of that pomposity here.

1x Twin Valleys Reserve Pinot Noir 2023
Red — Pinot Noir
Victoria — Australia
This is a really smart little wine. A lot of red fruit on display, some rich, ripe raspberry and strawberries lead into more densely laden cranberry and red cherry. The tannin is fine grain and delicate - pretty but textural and providing nice, subtle grip. While this is certifiable cool climate, it doesn't want for weight. The palate is satisfying and broad with classic cool climate acidity giving it focus and drive through a fine boned, prickly finish that lasts and lasts.
You’d pay $35 full price.

1x Bendigo Hills The Shepherds Hut Pinot Noir 2019
Red — Pinot Noir
Central Otago — New Zealand
Dark and delicious - this is pinot noir with a lot going on, which we love. Ripe fruit gives way to spiced nuance; clove, anise, vanilla bean. There is a juicy, pulpy mouthfeel which gives the wine a bit of 'oomph' and presence. The wine feels full and round in the mouth. Mushroom and soy flavours appear on the fringes of the developed fruit to offer some complexity and depth. The finish is powerful and lingers beautifully, with the acid taking shape as bright tart cherry and underripe raspberries. Stunning pinot noir.

Yarra Valley (insert handshake emoji) pinot noir. These two truly are a match made in heaven. Whether it's the cooler victorian climate at play here, the winemaker craftily adding complexity with thoughtful use of whole bunches and new oak, or whether it's because pinot is just our go to red, glass after glass, this bottle will put a smile on your face and remind you just why this is a favourite region and favourite grape for wine lovers.

1x Woodside Park Reserve Pinot Noir 2023
Red — Pinot Noir
Adelaide Hills — Australia
Ripe and balanced, this pinot from a boutique producer in the Onkaparinga valley is bursting with nuance. Pinot is not an easy find at the moment, let alone getting one that really knocks your socks off- but this is the little pinot that could. Fine grained tannins remind you that this wine isn't just here for a good time, but it's sure to provide it in spades. Notes of maraschino cherry and allspice upfront, with a lingering burst of amaro and orange on the finish. You'll be reaching for the next glass before you know it.
You’d pay $40 full price.
