If ever there was a grape capable of magic, it’s pinot noir. Little wonder it’s key to many of the most expensive wines in the world. Luckily, there’s none of that pomposity here.

1x Mt Bera Wild & Free Pinot Noir 2016
Red — Pinot Noir
Adelaide Hills — Australia
Some people will say pinot noir doesn’t improve with age, but we will have to whole heartedly disagree with that statement. Amazingly, this still sings with tangy redcurrant and boysenberry characters that shine alongside those classic mushroom, earthy characters that speak to expert cellaring. When you get a good one, pinot really can live more lives than your household cat. This is a credit to the team at Mt Bera, whose dedication and small-batch approach comes through in the quality of their every drop.
You’d pay $40 full price.

1x Sieger Estate Frederick Pinot Noir 2021
Red — Pinot Noir
Adelaide Hills — Australia
The words 'densely fruited' rarely lead a pinot noir tasting note but, here we are: densely fruited and medium bodied (nearing full), this wine means business. Raspberry, plum, black cherry - the development of the fruit profile is something to behold. It ain't all fruit, though, there's nettle, some mascarpone, sappy twigs, vanilla, and spice to be discovered, too. All of this complexity speaks to quality, if you let this wine open up in the glass (no need to decant, but be sure to give it a little slosh about) you'll be rewarded with little pockets of curiosity unfolding before your very eyes.
You’d pay $65 full price.

1x Riversdale Estate Scorpio Pinot Noir 2023
Red — Pinot Noir
Tasmania — Australia
We're always stoked to have wines from Riversdale, a winery that represents the quality of Tassie wines in every bottle they put out. This pinot is elegant, with a bit of earthiness behind the cherry and strawberry fruit profile. Up front you can taste some bramble drawn from partial whole bunch pressing, but that soon gives way to the silky palate and gently spiced finish.
You’d pay $40 full price.

1x Sunshine Creek Estate Pinot Noir 2019
Red — Pinot Noir
Yarra Valley — Australia
Yarra Valley pinot noir has become an international phenomenon in the past 20 years. Our producer has built this beauty in an internationally appeasing style. What does that mean? Its fruity charms are beguilingly easy to appreciate. There’s strawberries and raspberries in abundance; charmingly fun and endlessly exciting. Graphitey tannin, herbaceous crunch and the beginnings of age-derived forest floor undergrowth. While this juicy little number is far from the end of its life, the enjoyment you'll get out of this now is second to none. If you’re looking for a pinot to please all sorts, this is the one for you.
You’d pay $45 full price.

1x Rob Dolan Wines Pinot Noir 2023
Red — Pinot Noir
Victoria — Australia
You'll know Rob Dolan Wines for their reputation for excellence. They've been making some of the most iconic wines of the Yarra Valley and broader Victorian region for decades. This is, of course, no exception to that spirit of excellence; fresh red raspberries and pulpy cherry meat fine, slippery tannin structure. There is sappy acidity that frames the enduring finish. A brilliantly delivered wine from a master of their craft.
You’d pay $35 full price.
