2x Jericho Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir 2023
Red — Pinot Noir
Adelaide Hills — Australia
Life doesn't have to be so serious all the time. There's a time and place for this pinot: anytime, anywhere. Juicy, confected fruit and a nice little lick of spice creates a wine that's not overly serious but *completely delicious*. Seriously.
This one's all about the fruit. Strawberries, plums, blackcurrants and stewed rhubarb run the show whilst a vibrant acid, soft tannin and herbaceous, earthy spice add a little extra something to wrap your lips around. Perfect for large pours and long nights. To be honest, there's an element of danger when it comes to this wine. The kind of bottle that goes from three quarters full to completely empty in seemingly no time. Oh and one last thing... if you happened to drop this one in an esky for 20 minutes before you drank it, it would probably be really good, but as wine professionals we could never suggest that 😉

2x Woodside Park Estate Pinot Noir 2023
Red — Pinot Noir
Adelaide Hills — Australia
Everyone needs a wine like this in the cellar. A people pleasing, versatile wine that you can open at any time of day or night and know exactly what you're going to get. In this case, here's what you're going to get: Bright, lifted fruit ranging from fresh red currants all the way to black cherries and everything in between. There's a subtle spice and earthiness that the Adelaide Hills tends to bring out in wines and a silky mouthfeel from time spent in french oak. It's not an overly complex wine but why should it be? It's delicious just how it is and sometimes you just want to put something yummy in your glass without having to do a Somm exam. This is the kind of wine that's going to come in very handy one day, when you're stuck in a booze-less pickle, reach for the Woodside.

2x Taltarni Vineyards Estate Pinot Noir 2023
Red — Pinot Noir
Pyrenees — Australia
I love the wines of this producer - they are so well defined and stylistically perfect. This is pinot noir with a little bit of extra depth and weight. The red fruit, fresh and ripe, sits squarely at the centre of the wine, with fine boned spindly tannin and bracing acid circling it. The cooler 2023 growing region has allowed for punchy acidity to shine through, and the fruit expression to remain pure and focused. There's nothing out of place, it's fine tuned in its varietal and region expression. This is one of those wines that's an amazing deal at full retail, so get in quick.

2x Elysian Springs Silent Waters Pinot Noir 2023
Red — Pinot Noir
Adelaide Hills — Australia
This is a clever wine, in a lot of ways. It's pretty hard to find great pinot noir at the moment. The last few vintages have been tough, and getting maximum flavour with a minimal pricetag is a near impossible task. One clever way to build texture and complexity in pinot noir is to partially ferment the whole berry clusters. The producer of this wine employed this method with 30% of the fruit before letting the wine age in 50% new French oak. What’s in the bottle is elegant, yet concentrated. Fruit is expressed as cherries, plums and strawberries and there are secondary notes of spice and earth. You’ll feel semi-serious drinking this lovely pinot, even if it is a Tuesday night in your PJs.

2x Windowrie Estate The Mill Pinot Noir 2023
Red — Pinot Noir
Central Ranges — Australia
Soft and easy, read cherries, raspberries, vanillan oak and a subtle spice. Everything you want in an easy-drinking pinot. You could even chuck this in the fridge on a hot day, we won't tell anyone!
A medium-bodied wine with a focus on varietal fruit purity and texture. Yep, this is pinot noir made with one thing in mind - make a wine that tastes delicious and also tastes like pinot noir. Easy-drinking wines some times fall flat by missing what's most important. Varietal characters, this one has them in spades. All the fruit, all the spice, all the oak, a fraction of the price. This is potentially the best value pinot we've got. I know what I want in my glass on a Tuesday night.
You’d pay $26 full price.

2x Russell & Suitor Franca's Vineyard Pinot Noir 2024
Red — Pinot Noir
South Australia — Australia
Light-bodied, bright, pinot noir from a Vinomofo favourite producer. These are the kind of wines you don't need to say whole lot about, just enjoy. Whether you're into chilled reds, want something for a picnic or are looking for something light for after dinner, this is the wine for you. Red fruit, light-bodied, but with some oak roundness and a lingering fruity finish. Can't go wrong. Genuinely one of the best pinot deals we've had.
You’d pay $22 full price.
