Why do we love this case?
This is the cream of the crop, a case with the whole fruit salad of varieties - something for all of your dinner guests.
What is a 5 Star winery you ask?
Well... It’s a Halliday rating for a winery that has consistently produced wines of “exemplary quality and typicity”. - Basically you know these folk aren’t messing about!
2x Turkey Flat Vineyards Butcher's Block GSM 2021
Red — GSM
Barossa Valley — Australia
Comprising of 56% grenache, 38% shiraz and a 6% splash of mataro, expect a plush and fruit forward, medium bodied GSM that is hard not to enjoy. Floral aromatics give way to subtle hints of spice and a minty kick which provides a savoury framing to its dense fruit core.
Barossa Valley’s 2021 vintage displayed such a consistent fruit set that it has gone down as one of the best years in recent memory. Even affordable ‘entry level’ wines (in the hands of skilled winemakers, of course) showcased stunning personality and drive. At this pricepoint, you can crack open a bottle on any night of the week, for any reason and know you’ll be swept up in all the deliciousness and feel very spoilt. Go on, you deserve it.
You’d pay $27 full price.

2x Amelia Park Ironstone Shiraz 2022
Red — Shiraz
Frankland River — Australia
This wine is, without doubt, one of the most popular we’ve ever seen at Vinomofo. How popular is popular, you ask? Well, thirsty mofos took over 30,000 bottles of a previous vintage straight out of our hands. Yup. We know it’s a great wine deal but when our mofo members are this unanimous in their desire for this drop; well it’s simply cause for one big shiraz gluggin’ celebration.
Full bodied and silky smooth with lashings of plums and earthy spice; if you’re quaffing this Frankland River gem on a week night, know you’re in good company alongside many a mofo. With one fist in the air (and the other holding a glass of this wine) we salute you!
You’d pay $33 full price.

2x Yering Station Little Yering Shiraz 2021
Red — Shiraz
Yarra Valley — Australia
Pure silk. Pristine, pure-fruited and punching well above its weight. Concentrated dark berries, black pepper and a mouthfeel so slick, you might forget to swallow. Completely delicious.
Cool climate shiraz might well be the most underrated style of wine in Australia. This beauty is a shining example of robustness meets restraint. Plush dark fruit, subtle spice, black pepper, super-fine tannins and expertly interwoven French oak explode out of this wine from the first sip and carry on right through to long, smooth finish. As generous as it is graceful. Iconic producers like this don't make mistakes. Regionally expressive, technically perfect, entirely delightful.
You’d pay $24 full price.

2x Mount Langi Ghiran Billi Billi Shiraz 2020
Red — Shiraz
Victoria — Australia
If you've ever ordered a glass of red on a plane or at a country pub, odds are you've had a glass of this iconic shiraz. Rich, smooth, spicy and elegant, everything you could ask for in a wine of such outstanding value. It's not so often that a cool-climate shiraz breaks through the BS and claws its way to national (and international) recognition, particularly at this price. Our point is, for this wine to be so widely known and adored can only mean that it's something pretty special. Red plums and violets on the nose, dark fruit, black pepper and soft tannins on the silky, lengthy palate. For this price, you are absolutely laughing.
You’d pay $22 full price.

2x Head Wines 'Heart and Home' Shiraz Blend 2021
Red — Shiraz Blend
Barossa Valley — Australia
Smooth, bold, rich and ripe. A classically Australian shiraz blend. Shiraz and cabernet just work together, there's a reason they use the two for Grange...
This wine is described by the producer as “Shiraz et al”, but don’t get the wrong idea, this is still the Barossa. This is pretty much a shiraz/cabernet blend with all the boldness and palate weight you’d expect from the region. In the style of the classic Australian “dry reds” of yesteryear, this is a structured wine with gorgeously ripe fruit, lingering tannins and a smooth, oak driven finish. The shiraz and cabernet compliment each other perfectly and create a full-bodied wine with blackberry, dark cherry, and chocolatey oak. One for fans of all South Australian reds.
You’d pay $25 full price.
