1x Lansdowne Vineyard 'Valley' Chardonnay 2021
White — Chardonnay
Adelaide Hills — Australia
Hills chardy can come in all shapes and sizes, this particular number is all about the fuji apple, cantaloupe melon, ripe peach and flinty personality. A real treat to enjoy any time of the day, fresh enough to qwoff on a weeknight, but it'll hold its own when you're showing it off to your friends and family on the weekend. This tiny producer only makes a limited amount of this wine, so we were pretty lucky to get our hands on it, and it certainly had our buyer's tails wagging when they first tried it. Go on, it looks like your lucky day.
You’d pay $40 full price.

1x Twin Valleys Reserve Chardonnay 2023
White — Chardonnay
King Valley — Australia
Hail to the King! The king of white wine grapes, that is. True to it's Alpine home, this greets you with a swirl of citrus and stone fruit. There's a creamy element, too - something like peach cobbler or apricot yoghurt. Deftly striking a balance between richness and freshness, between full-fruited palate weight and fresh, energetic acidity. A delightful wine to say the least - this is versatile and friendly High Country chardy at it's best. Drink or hold.
You’d pay $35 full price.

1x Rob Dolan Wines Chardonnay 2023
White — Chardonnay
Victoria — Australia
Whether we’ll admit it or not, we all play favourites, and this chardonnay comes from one of our favourite wineries in the biz, Rob Dolan. It’s bursting with personality (much like the Rob himself). There’s a nice line of lemony citrus, hints of cashew and a sneaky oak backbone holding it all together. Pour us another glass and let's get settled in.
You’d pay $35 full price.

1x Dromana Estate Tuerong Park Chardonnay 2021
White — Chardonnay
Mornington Peninsula — Australia
An excellent vintage on show: Halliday called it "‘quite possibly the perfect growing and ripening season,' and here we can see why. This is a fresh and exciting release that is smack dab in the sweet spot. Still fresh and brightly acidic, but with creamy richness that fills the mouth. This is a tried-and-true Mornington estate. They have been producing premium wine out of the peninsula for the last forty-odd years and that experience shines through here.
You’d pay $35 full price.

1x Byron & Harold Gravity White Chardonnay 2023
White — Chardonnay
Margaret River — Australia
Wine Pilot's Ken Gargett is expecting 'an exciting future' from this Margs chardy, if you have the self-restraint not to drink it all now that is, telling us to 'enjoy over the next four to six years and expect the score to rise in the next few years'. Right now, though, this is citrusy, creamy, tropical, and floral - a winning combination for us.
You’d pay $32 full price.
