2x Reschke Cellar Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2020
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
Coonawarra — Australia
This family winery have been landowners in Coonawarra for over 100 years. They are Coonawarra experts and the jewel in their crown is, of course, cabernet sauvignon. Their wines consistently score highly with critics and this 2020 cellar release is a showcase of a deep understanding of the land and masterstroke winemaking.
The blackberry fruit concentration is immense and elevated by fine, dancing tannin. It wouldn't be Coonawarra without the marriage of mint and tobacco, rounding out mouth-feel and driving complexity. This is fantastic drinking now and will age gracefully for another decade.
You’d pay $65 full price.

2x Anarchist ‘Unreserved’ Cabernet Sauvignon 2020
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
Coonawarra — Australia
It is hard not to lick your chops when you first get a wine like this in the glass. Full bodied, in your face and unashamedly cabernet. Do you have a guest coming over who turns their nose up at any red that is too light? Pour this in their glass and watch their eyes light up. This is deep, dark and dense Coonawarra in all its rich and powerful glory. Better yet, it's a wine that will drink better and better for years to come. You'll only kick yourself when you run out and think that you should have bought more.
You’d pay $40 full price.

2x Hollick Red Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon 2020
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
Coonawarra — Australia
Estate fruit from the famed Hollick vineyards in Coonawarra, this is cab sauv like Aussies know and love. Certainly, a little bit of age behind this number has helped to fill out the mid palate, making it rich and dense with threads of fennel and mint throughout. It's very hard not to enjoy this wine- and we're speaking from experience.
You’d pay $35 full price.

2x Gapsted Limited Release Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
King Valley — Australia
Here we go again with another delicious drop from one of the most consistently consistent producers we work with. Everything in balance and such a nice drink. Fruit in the blackberry and plum spectrum, underlying spice and earthiness, a bit of drying tannin. One of those ‘don’t overthink it’ kinda wines, straight up tasty, enjoyable and ready to roll. Good thing you’ll have another bottle of the same ready to go as you’ll want to come back for more.
You’d pay $31 full price.

2x Kellybrook Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2018
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
Yarra Valley — Australia
There's a reason we go a bit bananas for a Yarra cab sauv down at Mofo HQ. Year after year they deliver complex, layered and highly drinkable drops that blend a touch of fruit with seriously sumptuous savoury characteristics. And this 2018 number is no exception. Subtle bursts of blackberry and raspberry with slight herbal notes and smooth tannins make this oh so tasty cab feel like a warm hug. And at this price, it's the best hug you'll ever get. Pair with a juicy steak or some rich portobello mushrooms.
You’d pay $30 full price.
