We have to say, this one was a hard pack to pull together. Mostly because we kept drinking all of the cellar reserve cabernets ourselves, or couldn’t keep them in stock long enough to bring a pack together.

Why do we love this case?
The point is mofo, we got there. We all know aged cabernet can be one of those unicorns, hard to find, but priceless when you do. Our producers have done the cellaring for you, so now all that’s left to do is crack these babies open (although we suggest giving them some airing time before diving in).
1x School House Cabernet Sauvignon 2013
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
Coonawarra — Australia
We all know that fine Coonawarra cabernet ages extremely well. Like George Clooney or Brad Pitt well. We’ve had the 2010 from this producer, and now they’ve offered us the 2013 we did not hesitate to take the opportunity. This is one of our go-to Coonawarra producers, so getting the wine should really be a no-brainer. It’s still plenty powerful, but age has softened the edges a touch to give it a bit more gravitas. Blackberry and mulberry, roasted nuts and black olive, all in perfect harmony. This is great stuff that will prove to be worthy of the A-list for years to come.
You’d pay $80 full price.

1x Cape Landing Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2018
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
Margaret River — Australia
Classic styling from a classic region. Margaret River is a region synonymous with cabernet sauvignon and we just love when wines are put together like this. Here you'll find all of the traits to look for, a delightful bouquet of violets, cassis and dark cherries underpinned by notes of roasted coffee beans and spice from 10 months of maturation in French Oak, all the while being supported by a medium to full body. An easy option for drinking some bottles now, and drinking the rest over 5+ years.
You’d pay $50 full price.

1x Reschke RSR Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 - AU
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
Coonawarra — Australia
Each glass of this cabernet is sure to be excellent and intriguing. The once boisterous tannins have now mellowed on the silky palate, and fruit is joined by herbaceous and somewhat meaty notes. There’s still classic cabernet cassis and blackberry, which is accompanied by rosemary, thyme and a long and savoury finish. This is outstanding wine, and will continue to serve you well for many, many years to come.
You’d pay $75 full price.

1x Clarendon Hills Brookman Cabernet Sauvignon 2007
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
McLaren Vale — Australia
Clarendon Hills are a winery who produces exceptionally long lived wines. Here's cabernet from 2007 that still holds dense black fruits at its core. Bramble, briary, inky, swirling black currant and black cherry sit at the centre of smoke, game, tobacco, and cedar. A brilliant wine from an Aussie icon.

1x Geoff Merrill Pimpala Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon 2015
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
McLaren Vale — Australia
Full of oomph and bravado, this strapping vintage Cab is not for the faint of heart. Those who know Geoff Merrill's wines know that they pack a proper punch. Packed with succulent, ripe berry fruits, charry and vanillin oak and leather – this is not one to pull the bat away from big, bold flavours. Marked by a toasty oak profile, there's a whack of tobacco, clove and freshly roasted coffee perfuming the nose and palate. This is quite the wine to impress.
You’d pay $55 full price.

1x Sunshine Creek Ulysses Cabernet Blend 2015
Red — Cabernet Blend
Yarra Valley — Australia
Bramble and cassis at the fore. Juicy, plush, and bristling with full tannins. There is powerful, premium oak framing the fruit profile, and a baseline of mineral complexity peeking through. This is seriously premium, seriously full-throttle stuff. Bright, lifted, energetic cool climate cabernet.
You’d pay $120 full price.
