1x Stonehaven Wines Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2021
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
Coonawarra — Australia
Deep, brooding cabernet that flaunts the varietals reputation for medium-plus body. Soft and supple but still boasting broad palate weight that fills the mouth, arrests the gums, and lives on long after its been swallowed. James Halliday called this wine "seriously good cabernet," and, in his brevity, he sums it up perfectly; this bests every mark for classic Coonawarra cab - seriously good indeed.

1x Yelland & Papps Single Vineyard Greenock Shiraz 2022
Red — Shiraz
Barossa — Australia
Classic single vineyard Barossa shiraz made from old vines on the western ridge of the valley. There’s opulence, fruit weight, fine tannins and a long finish on this one. Wild yeast has been utilised before nearly two months in a mix of new and seasoned French and American oak. Plum, mulberry and clove jump out of the glass upon first whiff. The palate expands even further with vanilla, licorice, dark chocolate and graphite. Smoothness, complexity and depth all wrapped up in a velvety package. This is really, really good vino.

1x Sidewood Estate Shiraz 2021
Red — Shiraz
Adelaide Hills — Australia
If we’re honest, there’s not a single reason that we don’t love this winery. They’re far from being one-trick ponies (although everyone can find a favourite in their range). Whether it be sensational sparkling, succulent sauvignon blanc, perfect pinot noir, or shining chardonnay. This time, the spotlight is on the shiraz. Selected fruit, estate crafted, 100% french oak treatment through fermentation and 15 months maturation, before final barrel selection is undergone. No stone left unturned, no drop of wine slips by without quality assured. To simply say this overdelivers doesn’t do it justice: this excels in its own category and ones above.
You’d pay $27 full price.

1x Corryton Burge Brigadier Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
Barossa — Australia
Blackberry, mocha, mint, fennel, blackcurrant leaf, cedar, cigar box, red currant, coffee, burnt sugar - there's a lot going on here. Brilliant cabernet. The richness of the palate drives the wine, but the fruit is wrapped up tightly in the brightness of the acid. A balanced and persistent finish completes the wine. This is seriously complex and seriously good.

1x Reschke Bos Cabernet Sauvignon 2015
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
Coonawarra — Australia
This is the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. The needle in the haystack. This is why we show up to work every day and search the globe for the best wines. This right here, is the epitome of aged Coonawarra cabernet. Reschke are Coonawarra legends, and they don't hold back on the time and care that goes into their wines. Halliday would certainly agree, awarding the 2015 'Bos' 95pts in a recent tasting. Vibrant blackcurrant and oak have come together, tannins mellowed and earthy, secondary elements emerged. Enjoy drinking from the top shelf, you deserve it.

1x James Haselgrove Futures Shiraz 2021
Red — Shiraz
McLaren Vale — Australia
Nothing get us wine lovers more excited than old vines— the beautiful, wrinkled trunks growing thick and heavy on themselves, the roots burrowing deep into the soils and the wines, the resulting wines, adding layers of complexity and depth not found from younger vines. At over 110 years of age, you can picture how stunning these old vines are and the resulting wine speaks for itself. Crafted from a vintage that will drink well young but also reward extended cellaring, allowing itself to reveal all of its potential and nuances. The perfect wine for a special occasion or dinner, or better yet, a treat for yourself.
You’d pay $75 full price.
