Why do we love this case?
Talisker has been continuously producing exceptional Isle of Skye whisky since 1830, making it the oldest working distillery on the famed isle. This incredible wealth of experience and whisky in barrel means they are second to none when it comes to producing the classically smoky and saline styles for which the isle is renowned. This drop is so impressive. Quite fruity straight out the bottle, charred but creamy oak notes balance, with the telltale sea-air salinity coming through. The palate is a revelation, and the white pepper finish supports the rich, rounded honey notes and smoky fruits perfectly. Slàinte Mhath!
