Why do we love this case?
Fuji Single Blend Whisky is the liquid embodiment of nature’s purity mixed with the art of whisky making. Crafted just 12 kilometres from the summit of Japan’s most sacred peak, the cool, misty climate - reminiscent of Scotland - pairs with the mountain’s aquifer, which provides some of the sofest, purest water in the world. Master Blender Jota Tanaka, a Whisky Hall of Famer, has shown his prowess here, creating a unique “single blended” process, incorporating several single malts distilled in traditional pot stills and three types of single grain, each crafted in their own distinct column stills before being aged in ex-bourbon American oak casks, allowing the flavours to develop complexity and balance. The result? Delicate, yet flavour-packed, harmonious amber excellence. A testament to Mt Fuji itself.
